Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL HITECHNIC, THE STORE OWNERS, ITS PARENT, SUBSIDIARIES, OR AFFILIATES, OR THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR INDIRECT DAMAGES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF DATA, USE, OR PROFITS), HOWEVER CAUSED, WHETHER FOR BREACH OF CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE, OR OTHERWISE, AND WHETHER OR NOT THIS COMPANY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF ANY SUCH DAMAGES. YOU AGREE THAT THE COMPANY PARTIES MAXIMUM LIABILITY ARISING FROM ANY PRODUCT SOLD SHALL NOT EXCEED THE PRICE OF SUCH PRODUCT. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OF EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR CERTAIN DAMAGES SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU TO THE EXTENT SUCH JURISDICTIONS LAW IS APPLICABLE TO THIS AGREEMENT.
Time of order processing
Orders are processed Monday-Friday before 2:30PM U.S. Eastern Time. Orders placed after this time will be process the following business day. Also note that the HiTechnic offices are closed on Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and Thanksgiving.
Shipping is calculated based on the weight of the shipment. We ship Priority Mail (US Only) or FedEx Express which provides proof of shipping, tracking and proof of delivery.
US Domestic Shipping
FedEx - FedEx Express, various types of service, includes tracking, proof of delivery.
Priority Mail - Priority Mail service offers
- 2 to 3 day service to most domestic destinations
- proof of delivery.
FedEx International Priority offers
- 1 to 4 average business day delivery depending on the destination.
International Importation Taxes and duties: When receiving an international shipment, your country may charge duties and importation taxes based on the value of the shipment which FedEx will collect from you upon delivery. You are responsible for paying these fees.
To find out if your country charges taxes and fees contact your countries customs agency.
NOTE: Refusal to pay these fees will result in your package being abandoned by the shipper and you will not receive a refund from HiTechnic for your abandoned order.
We accept credit card payments and PayPal.
In certain cases HiTechnic accepts official purchase orders from schools, universities and other US domestic educational institutions. Please contact HiTechnic for further details.
Dataport and HiTechnic warranties its products to be free from defects in materials and manufacturing for 6 months from the time of sale.
If your item is defective or malfunctioning contact Technical Support ( firstname.lastname@example.org ) and we will attempt to resolve the issue. Technical issues can often be resolved without the need to return the item. If an item is to be returned our warranty return policy is;
- All return shipments must include a completed RMA form (Return Materials Authorization) with the assigned RMA number issued by Technical Support. Any return sent to us without a completed RMA form will not be accepted and will be returned to you.
- You are responsible for return shipping charges.
- Items must be returned using a trackable shipping service. We suggest US Postal Service (or your country's postal service) delivery confirmation service or UPS / FedEx. If your package doesn't arrive and you don't use a trackable method to return the item we will not be able to honor the Warranty Return policy.
- In the event that we need to send you the repaired unit or a replacement, we will pay return shipping.
